CORNBREAD

3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1 cup yellow corn meal
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 1/2 cups milk

Mix sugar with beaten eggs.  Sift flour, corn meal, baking powder and salt together.  Add melted butter and milk.  Beat up quickly and bake in large buttered pan in a very hot oven (425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes).
