LEMON LOVE NOTES

Crust

1/2 cup butter (or Oleo)
1 cup flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar

Pat into a 9 inch square pan.  Bake at 350o for 15 minutes.  Cool.

Filling

2 Tablespoons lemon juice
Grated rind of 1 lemon
2 beaten eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 tsp baking powder

Mix well.  Place on cooled crust.  Return to oven and bake about 25 minutes.  Cool.

Frosting

3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tablespoon butter
Milk

Mix sugar, vanilla and butter with just enough milk for right spreading consistency. 

Cut into squares for serving.
