PECAN
PIE
DUB EGBERT
1 cup broken Pecans (1 1/2 cups whole nuts)
3 eggs, well beaten
1 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons melted butter
1 cup White Karo Syrup
1/4 teaspoon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Add all but the pecans to the beaten eggs.
Mix well. Add pecans, gently
mix. Put mixture into 9 inch pie
tin lined with unbaked pie crust.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce
heat to 350 degrees and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
Pie is done when bubbles are rising to the surface at the center of the
pie. Pie will not appear to be
done, that is, not set.
