SPICY PUMPKIN LOAVES

6 eggs
4 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups salad oil
29 oz. canned pumpkin
5 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 Tablespoon each baking soda, allspice, cinnamon
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
3/4 cup white raisins

Beat eggs.  All sugar, oil, pumpkin and mix.  In a second bowl, stir flour, salt, baking soda, allspice and cinnamon.  Add to pumpkin mixture; stir until just blended.  Stir in nuts and raisins.  Pour into four greased 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch loaf pans.  Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out dry; about 1 hour, 10 minutes.  Makes 4 loaves.
