STICKY
RIBS
2 cups vinegar
1 cup honey
4 Tablespoons Worcestershire
1 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 teaspoons liquid smoke
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 rack of pork ribs - about 4 pounds
Mix sauce ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Cool. Clean and
trim fat from the ribs. Marinate
ribs in the sauce for 2 or more hours - at room temperature. Drain ribs and bake in a 325o
oven on a rack for 1 hour or until done. Baste
frequently with the remaining sauce. During last ten minutes or so raise the oven temperature to
450o to crisp the ribs.
Watch carefully so as not to burn the ribs as the sauce has a high sugar
content. Baste during these last
few minutes for a nice glossy, sticky surface.
