Ruth and Flint Smith, Bob Keller, Dave Mootchnik, Gary Benedict and Dub Egbert took the choo choo down to San Diego to rent Segways - those neat $5K personal transporters.   After a training video and some personal instruction, they were turned loose in Mission Bay Park where they annoyed pedestrians, chased small animals and occasionally ran into walls.
